Luna Chihuahua Mix Minneapolis, MN

Luna is a sweet senior girl. She loves people and has readily greeted many visitors to her foster home - Luna is so darn cute that people just keep stopping by to meet her! She also gets along very well with the resident dog. She will run to greet you at the door when you arrive home and follow you around the house until you are ready to sit down and snuggle in with her and a soft blanket. Luna has helicopter tail! Her tail wags so quickly when she sees her person it is nothing but a blur. Since Luna is a senior, she is not very active and really just wants to sleep, snuggled up in your lap or preferably right under your chin. Luna does pretty well with house training on a schedule.

Luna's life has been pretty rough. She's been abandoned, separated from your partner, reunited with your partner, spayed, moved out of state, introduced to a new family and new dogs, then her bonded partner passed away. She is one tough cookie. Luna is estimated to be about 10 years old and weighs about 5-6 pounds.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.

Luna will be making an appearance at a fundraising event, Strut Your Mutt at Wolf Park in St Louis Park on Sunday, September 11 between 10am and noon.

We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday October 29, 2016, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
