Valentino - Adoption Pending!! Labrador Retriever & Whippet Mix Milford, NH

Rescued 2/12/2015 at 3 months

Valentino was another Cruelty Case. He was stabbed below the Spinal Cord and we were advised to put him to sleep. The Xray showed a vertebrae dislocated. He has recovered completely, runs and jumps and the Veterinarian says it is a miracle.

Valentino is very sweet and playful with dogs and people. He loves to please you. When you give praise to him, his whole body wiggles. He is a quick learner. He already knows no and is working on sit.

Valentino is house trained and crate trained. He does have a fear of leashes so while he's working through his fear, he needs a fenced in yard. He has the best manners too, no chewing and doesn't get on the furniture.

A home with another dog wold make Valentino very happy. Young children make him nervous, though he isn't aggressive with them, he has a hard time relaxing around them.

This special boy so deserves to feel safe and to be loved. He has endured so much pain in the beginning of his life, we're hoping to erase that emotional pain over the next years of his life by finding him that special home that will love him unconditionally!

Valentino is approx 1 year and 9 months and weighs 30 lbs
