DANNY (PetSmart) Domestic Short Hair Staten Island, NY

Hi, My name is Danny. My owner passed away and I stayed by his side for 5 weeks before someone came and found him. They didn't see me because I ran and hid in the closet. Fortunately, someone did come back to look for me and there I was huddled in the closet. A nice young lady took me home and called different rescues to see who would be able to care for me and find me a new home. SICAW offered to do just that. The doctor said I was severely dehydrated from having little to no food and or water for all that time. I am now on the mend and and will soon need my special person again. Will you be the person I can cuddle with and who will love me?

Danny was born Feb 2013. He is up to date with shots, neutered, negative for FIV / FELV, and microchipped. Currently in the care of the Staten Island Council for Animal Welfare--he can be seen in the PetSmart adoption center 1520 Forest Ave.
