Meet Penny (declawed front paws)

Penny is a lovely 9 year old spayed female with declawed front paws, that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 1/18/16. She is cover-girl gorgeous with a plush, velvety soft coat, and illuminating green eyes that seem lit from within. She is a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up to the gentle touch of a loving human. It is truly surprising and sad that her previous owner didn't think about looking for her here at the shelter because she is such a nice feline, and most likely lived in that household for a long time. All of the loud noises, different smells, and meeting so many strangers every day has been difficult for her, but she is doing the best she can until that special person comes along that is meant to love her forever. Penny is talkative and stays alert to everything that is happening around her. She enjoys being petted, scratched and cuddled. Penny is in need of a quiet household where she can enjoy the second half of her life being spoiled with affection, pampered, and fussed over forever.
