Attention all Beagle lovers! It's me your looking for and I am right here! Hi, my name is Audrey and I am a Beagle mix that was surrendered to the shelter because my previous owner's felt that I was getting too old. Why, in my opinion 12 years isn't old, I thought I was still a puppy because I have lots of pep-in-my-step. I am a happy spayed female that loves to go on walks, and I am quite good at playing fetch. Some of my dog walkers have told me that they are amazed at my energy and find it hard to keep up with me. I do have to admit that my hearing isn't quite what it used to be, but I don't ever let that get me down. I have a very nice sit and I have also been taught shake, come, down, and roll-over, however, I am a bit rusty on some of those commands. I have been keeping my kennel clean, so I am most likely housebroken. I will need a home without other dogs as I prefer to be your one and only special pet. Like most senior dogs, I am looking for a home without small children as well - older kids would be fine. I am alert, excitable, energetic, sweet, I love to cuddle, be petted, and play fetch. I love people and will certainly be a cherished companion for the lucky household that adopts me.
