Smokey Cocker Spaniel Eau Claire, WI

Hello, my name is Smokey and I am a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel that was sadly surrendered to the shelter because my previous owner was no longer able to care for me. I have been neutered and I just had a dental, which has made me feel so much better. I am super friendly and I do well with other dogs, cats, strangers, and gentle children that understand my medical issues. You see, I have cataracts in both eyes, so I don't see very well at all and can get startled easily. This is why I am seeking a quiet home where there is always someone around to keep me company. I love to snuggle and I get so excited about being on the receiving end of attention that I groan when being petted and kissed. Everyone here tells me that I am the sweetest dog around. I am very good on leash and I like to trot around along side of you in the yard. My favorite treats are Beggin Strips which I take very gently. I am not food aggressive at all. I am housebroken, and would like to have a home and family of my own in which to share my love and golden years. I am currently being fostered at a wonderful place called Bob's House for Dogs.
