Isabelle ( lap cat ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Isabelle is a very loving 6 year old spayed female that would like to be the princess of the household. She was surrendered to the shelter on 11/02/16 because a member of the household was allergic to cats. Isabelle does not do well with other cats or dogs and would prefer to be your only pet. The shelter has therefore been quite overwhelmingly scary for poor Isabelle and we would like to find a quiet home for her soon. She is shy of strangers at first but warms up VERY quickly and is very loyal to her family. Isabelle is a sweetheart and likes to lay on your lap and sleep with you. She gives kisses and is an affectionate girl that will surely be a treasured feline in the right home. Isabelle wants to be with you and will follow you from place to place. One of her favorite things to do is to drink out of a dripping bathroom sink in the morning while you get ready for your day. She loves being petted, groomed, and spending time on your lap as she offers an instant purr of contentment, but like many cats she is not fond of being confined in your arms for very long. Isabelle is fine with very gentle children, but would do best in a home without little ones. She is super playful and LOVE, LOVE, LOVES small fuzzy balls that she can easily bat around the house. She also enjoys shoelaces, and wand toys that have a human attached to the other end. When playtime is over she looks for a ray of sunshine to relax in for an afternoon nap. Isabelle prefers to use cardboard scratching pads or raw wood (2 x 4's mounted on a platform) over carpeted scratching posts, and is excellent with the litter box. She also just had a dental. Isabelle is a lovely girl and wants to be your special princess forever.
