Saoirse (Seer-Sha) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Saoirse, which means freedom, is a 3 year old spayed female that was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 7/15/15 as her previous owner is now gone much of the time and wants what is best for this wonderful feline. Saoirse is a beautiful lady with a very unique ticked coat. It is light brown with auburn highlights throughout and it is super soft. A ticked coat is a type of fur characteristic of wild rabbits or squirrels in which each hair is comprised of bands of various colors. Saoirse also has awesome blue/green eyes that are sure to melt your heart, and a wonderfully cheery personality. She loves to be reminded of her beauty and leans into you as you scratch her ears and rub her neck. She is affectionate, independent, charming and very smart. Saoirse is friendly with everyone and does well with children. She also did well with a dog in her previous home. She kept her distance much of the time, but was comfortable with eating right next to the dog. Saoirse loves having a special human to bond with. She is good about being groomed, petted, massaged, and scratched; after she gets to know you she enjoys spending time on your lap, preferably with a pad on your lap so that it is flat. She is comfortable with being held in your arms, but prefers that you do not walk around with her. Saoirse is sensitive to certain smells and gets overwhelmed by strong scents of perfumes. Saoirse can be a talkative girl when she is trying to tell you something or to get your attention. She is very inquisitive about everything that is going on around her and loves to spend time looking out of a window or snuggling up close to you for some loving attention. She is playful and loves to chase balls or anything that she can make move easily as she loves to chase things. Saoirse is an exceptionally beautiful girl with a sweet disposition.
