Helga English Bulldog Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hello, Helga here! I am a 2-year-old spayed female, English Bulldog mix in need of a home without small children. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, but since my previous owner didn't think about looking for me here, I am now available to become YOUR new best friend. I am very much a people's dog, seeking out human attention with my gigantic smile and by licking you over and over again. When I first arrived here, I quickly won the hearts of everyone that saw me. I heard some of them say I was chunky, compact, and adorable, but what I saw was an even more adorable smile on all of their faces. They all think that I am super cute, but I already knew that. I don't feel like I'm compact at all, but rather that I just have short legs, which keeps me from doing naughty things like counter-surfing for food. There is nothing I love more than being the center of attention, so I am always sad to see my walkers leave after spending time with me. I do have to admit that I do pull on leash, but I also have very good eye contact, so learning to become more polite on leash should be easy. I love to cuddle and I don't usually join in on the chorus of barking that is happening around me. If you are looking for a sweetheart of a dog that is very affectionate and dependable, and has a short haired, easy-to-care-for coat that is easy to groom, please spend some time with me! Before you adopt me, please check with your landlord and renter's insurance company or your homeowner's insurance company to make sure that they do not discriminate against my breed. NOTE: I am currently being kept on a more quiet side of the building, but I am very anxious to meet you, so please ask for me at the front desk!!!!
