Christopher (declawed front paws) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Tall, dark, and handsome gentleman wants to meet you! Christopher is a tall black cat with long legs, green eyes, declawed front paws, and an EXTRA long tail. He has a tiny white bracelet of fur on his right front leg. Christopher is neutered and about 9 years old. Christopher joined the Eau Claire County Humane Assn. as a stray on 4/20/15. He was emaciated and dehydrated and very sad. Christopher was sent to foster care for a few weeks to help him regain some weight. He did well with the 3 other cats in his foster home, and although he was hesitant at first about the 2 large dogs, now he is no longer afraid or bothered by dogs. Christopher is polite and happy. He likes to be in the room with you but is not a pest. He has a quiet purr and loves to sleep on the bed by you. Christopher has an overactive thyroid, which is part of the reason he is so thin. He takes medication every 12 hours to help his thyroid. It is a salve that goes on the inside of his ear, and Christopher waits patiently as you apply the medication. Christopher is now doing great and is waiting at the shelter for you to fall in love with him.
