Meet Rosie, the poodle
Rosie is a gorgeous, apricot poodle, 6-7 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. This sweet, very shy girl was used for breeding all her life, and came to BCAA last July. She was adopted to a family but recently returned since she was still so very scared of the husband and son. Rosie is confident in the company of other dogs, and has learned how to trust women. She is very happy when she can snuggle and be on someone's lap. Rosie will need a fenced in yard and a home WITHOUT men and children. She does know how to walk on a leash, but we are not sure of her housebreaking if she is on a leash and not in a fenced in area. She will be a wonderful companion for someone who is not gone for long hours.
