Meet T J (longest resident)

A large black male with a white mustache and green eyes, TJ is a neutered 6-year-old that was surrendered to the shelter on May 1st, 2015, as his previous owner could not care for him. Calm and quiet, TJ although friendly, is reserved and a bit of a wallflower; while he likes attention, he tends to hang back a bit. However, he just loves being petted, as long as you go slow and are gentle. TJ is the type of feline that is ok with being picked up and held, and would quietly sit by you for hours, just enjoying your company, but he needs someone that is willing to be patient and give him the love he needs to reach his potential. He is a playful and active guy who is curious about things; he also enjoys chasing and batting around toys once he feels comfortable. TJ is a wonderful feline that would do well in any household, please take some time to get to know him on your next visit to the shelter!
