Meet Nugget

A resident of the shelter since August 1st, 2015, Nugget is a 2 year old spayed female with big light yellow eyes and gray fur. She was surrendered to the shelter due to allergies of a family member. Alert and observant, she is just a bit meek when you first meet her, but really enjoys attention; she will rub her face against your hand for more petting, especially cheek scratches. Once she knows you, Nugget is very affectionate and LOVE, LOVE, LOVES to be petted as well as spend time relaxing on your lap. She doesn't mind being groomed and is very confident with being held in your arms. She is quite curious and likes to explore. She is good with gentle children, and is a very active girl that loves to play. Her favorite toy is a mouse on a string. Nugget is a sweet gal with a lot of love to give, but is wary around other cats and dogs, so she would do best as the only pet of the household. You will find a loving and low-maintenance companion in Nugget, and you will surely be rewarded if you adopt her as part of your family!
