Bonnie and Clyde - Bonded Pair Basset Hound & Beagle Mix Chatham, ON

MUST have: a secure fenced yard, must be adopted together

Bonnie and Clyde are a sweet pair of 4 year old Bassett Hound/Beagle mixes! They are an inseparable male and female who must be adopted as a bonded pair. They are easy to care for as they love people but are also content just being together when their humans are busy. They are very loving dogs who are happy to just snuggle on the couch...with children, adults or each other!

Being Bassett mixes, they are very curious and when going for walks, they enjoy all the wonderful scents along the way. They also enjoy running in the yard, scaring off birds, rabbits or squirrels. They are well behaved in the car and are always ready for a road trip.

Clyde is protective of Bonnie and does not like to share his humans with other dogs. These two will do best as the only dogs in the family.

Clyde is an energetic boy and goofy as always. His big eyes are the gateway to his even bigger personality. He is very loving, incredibly social and loyal. He is a very strong dog, muscular build and yet gentle though sometimes he does not know the strength of his own tail, especially when it is time for a meal. He loves to try and play fetch, he likes the idea of chasing after the ball or rope. He is just not very good at giving it back.

Bonnie is a loving, gentle girl who is very caring for Clyde. She gets the sweetest little smiles when she gets solo attention....Clyde can sometimes try to steal all the attention. Bonnie can still be nervous around strangers but is much more eager to get to know someone as soon as Clyde shows her how much attention there is to go around. Food portions are monitored as she has put on a bit of weight but you would never know it when she is running around the yard in top gear. She is so much faster than Clyde.

Bonnie and Clyde do not bark much but will warn you of unfamiliar noises. When left alone in the house, they have free roam of the main floor and are respectful of their home. They sleep all night without a peep.

Adoption fee: $650
Each dog is spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
