Ella has been in a foster home all summer, while she waited for her forever home to discover her. However, summer is coming to a close and we really need to find a good forever home for this girl, because she's headed back to the shelter when school starts...Here's a message from her foster mom: Summer is coming to a close and we really need to find a good forever home for our foster dog, Ella. I fear that our school schedule and all associated activities just don't leave enough time to give good enough care to this wonderful dog, and she deserves the best. She is SO sweet, SO tolerant (a nearly 2 year old friend of ours decided Ella would make a good couch and she just went with it), SO well behaved (she even finds out of the way places to deposit her poos). She loves going for a walk, and as you see in the video, still has a great deal of playfulness in her. She's NOT a barky dog (we all had to bark at her to make her bark in the video) but she IS actually a good guard dog as she has a deep bark and will bark once or twice when strangers come to the door, just as a good dog does. Please spread the word, if you have any friends or relatives who need a good companion who is older, loves walks but I think is possibly beyond long hikes, and likes to roll on her back in the grass. Ella is about 14 years old (but certainly doesn't act like it other than being very prone to naps) and we think she is part Great Pyreneese. Ella is current on shots, microchipped and spayed. The adoption fee for this gem is $150. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
