Meet Luke

Luke is a ten month old Shepherd/Chow mix. Last October someone abandoned Luke and his brother. They were about ten weeks old and terrified of people. We worked with them and convinced them that humans aren't so bad. Luke is now a very laid back, easy going fellow. He likes people but will never be a snuggly dog. He prefers a rub on the chest or belly to a hug. For that reason he would not be a good choice for young children. He loves other dogs, really enjoys his walks, lives with cats and does well in his crate. He is happy hanging out in the backyard but also enjoys being in the house. Luke has a very steady, low maintenance temperament but is shy around people he does not know.
Luke is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. His fee is $100. An application and home visit are required. Please email bw86885@gmail.com .
