Roxie - Adopted 8/16/2015 Rottweiler & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Livonia, MI

Roxie is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses. She is very smart, eager to please, and thinks she's a lap dog. Roxie is crate trained, does well in the car, loves toys (but also loves to destroy stuffed toys to get to the squeaker), is very affectionate and goofy. She has a lot of energy and would love to find a family where she could get lots of exercise (she would make a great running partner). Roxie does well with other dogs and with cats, but would probably do best with older kids because she is high energy and could easily knock little ones over. Roxie LOVES to snuggle. She loves to curl up right next to, or on top of you and cuddle. Roxie has tried to slip out the door if it is left open, though she comes right back when called. She loves to play outdoors, and would love a family who is moderately to highly active.

Special Animal Friends and Rescue, Inc. (SAFARI) is a non-profit, no-kill, foster based animal rescue. SAFARI is currently seeking foster parents, volunteers, and donation to fund the continued rescue of these deserving animals.
