Meet Birdie. Birdie is approximately 7 months old and despite the fact that she most likely has never been an indoor pet, she is behaving wonderfully. She is timid and nervous, but that's to be expected. After all, in less than a week, she's been in a plane, in a strange home and separated from her brother. She has not had any accidents, only has gone out to do her business like a good little girl. No barking or chewing on things, just a love bug that wants to be loved. So if you or someone you know is looking to adopt a precious 4 legged baby, please keep Birdie in mind. She is currently just 16-17 lbs and sweet as can be. Gets along with other small dogs, not sure about bigger ones as I haven't witnessed that yet.

Sato Heart Rescue does not place our dogs on a "first come, first served" basis, but does adopt to the best home that matches the needs of the dog and adoptive family. Our primary purpose is to find the right match for you and the rescue awaiting their "second chance." The adoption fee is $365.00 (of which $75.00 is to cover transportation expenses) & the majority of the fee is sent to Puerto Rico to continue the rescue work. Adoptions fees must be paid in cash or check, we cannot accept credit cards at this time. All dogs come fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, are been seen by a vet prior to making their journey to NH. and are seen by a licensed NH Vet to obtain their State of NH Health Certificate (per NH Dept of Agriculture law) before being adopted.
