Reggie Border Collie Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Reggie. I am a very sweet 4 year old Border Collie mix that gives kisses, loves peanut butter and butt scratches, and know sit, shake, and down! I am a neutered male with a very soft, plush coat that begs for you to run your fingers through and brush. I will need help with keeping my coat well groomed and mat free, so please plan on brushing me often. I am housebroken, crate-trained, and if you have another dog we could be friends. I even do well with cats. I received an excellent score on all of my shelter safer tests, and I love to cuddle and play. Family is very important to me and my previous owner did say that I can be protective of my home, and will run barking at strangers that come into my yard; therefore, I am not recommended for households with children. I was surrendered to the shelter because my previous owner no longer had enough time to provide me with the amount of exercise and athletic activities that is required for my breed. I am very loving and may seem calm and refined, but please do not let that fool you, as I love to be active and will need an active family that will provide me with outlets for all of my energy. I am polite on leash and I love nothing more than spending time with my special humans. Please adopt me!!
