Hi There! My name is Camper and I am a 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix that was brought to the shelter as a stray. I am a neutered male with a very handsome brindle and white coat and a happy-go-lucky personality. If you are looking for a joyful, outgoing dog with lots of potential, confidence, and enthusiasm for life, please spend some time with me because I am the dog of your dreams. I will need an active home that is enthusiastic about the excitement of dog training, and will make sure that I receive lots of exercise and playtime. My goal in life is to put a smile on your face every day, and I am very good at it. I am a ball of energy, but a very good student and I have already learned sit and stay. You will be proud of me if you take me to formal obedience training, which is highly recommended for me, and I would really like to go! I have heard that I would get lots of treats and would meet other dogs. I have been good with most of the other dogs here, but not with all of them. I will need a home without cats as I still love to chase critters. I am really just a big puppy that gets over excited about going on walks, and in that excitement you may find me jumping up and biting on my leash at first, but I really do calm down once we are on our way; by the time we are done with our walk you will see my sweet and cuddly personality shining like the superstar dog you have always wanted. I love to be near my special humans and share in everything that they do. I may be too silly for young children, but would be great for adults interested in having fun and would love to take me jogging every day.
