Ryder Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Ryder is a wonderful 2 year old neutered male with a ticked brown tabby coat. A ticked coat is a type of fur characteristic of wild rabbits or squirrels which is comprised of multicolored hair strands of various color. Ryder was surrendered to the shelter on 5/11/16 when his previous owner moved to assisted living. Ryder is VERY friendly with everyone and is great with children. He was the only pet in his previous home and loves being the center of attention. At the shelter he tolerates other cats but has little interest in playing with them; he has not been introduced to dogs. When you are busy, Ryder is happy to independently play with catnip mice and other cat toys by himself, but the way to laughter is by playing fingers-under-the-blanket with him . Ryder also loves wand toys with a human attached to the other end. He is very active and plays hard, leans into you for extra attention hard, and sleeps hard, which makes him the perfect family pet! When you hold him in your arms, and he looks straight at you with those green and gold eyes that are begging for adoption, and you hear his soft purr, your heart is sure to melt! Ryder is talkative, loves to watch the birds and squirrels from a window, and enjoys taking naps beside you. He is excellent with the litter box, and knows what a scratching post is for. He enjoys being brushed, petted, and scratched. What an enjoyable feline to make you smile each day!
