Woo Hoo! Read about me! If you are looking for a silly dog with enough energy to light up the world, but is also super affectionate, loves to cuddle, and will provide you with miles of smiles and companionship forever - well, here I am!!! My name is Harper and I am a 1-year-old spayed female Hound mix. I am housebroken and very good about telling you when I need to go outside. I love to play and adore attention of any kind. I also love, love, love to go on long walks because there is always SO much to take notice of and to sniff. I have a part-time foster home, and my foster dad took me trail-running; he said that I was a terrific jogging partner for staying more or less focused on running instead of veering off into the woods like so many other dogs might have done. I also enjoy being petted, scratched, told how beautiful I am, and praised for being such an awesome girl. I pick up quickly on house rules, although I will admit that occasionally I do get the urge to test some of them just to make sure that nothing has changed. I have done some inappropriate chewing, but my foster home is helping me to work on that, and I mostly do well while supervised. The staff has been telling me that a requirement of my adoption is that you must take me to basic obedience training. It really sounds like fun for both of us, and I already know sit and down. I promise to make you very proud of me. I am beautiful with a perky personality and eagerness to learn everything I need to know to always be a cherished and loved member of your household. I am starting to get all wiggly just thinking about it. I do well with other dogs, but will need a home without cats or small children - older kids that can play with me would be fine. I am very cute, and that alone will bring you many compliments. So here I am..... waiting for you to give me a car ride to your home where I will be loved forever. Please hurry!
