Amelia's 4 MONTH OLD PUPPIES! Shepherd Mix Northville, MI

Arrival story: Mama Amelia (an all-black, 55lb Shepherd mix with pointy snout and cute floppy, fold-over ears, was rescued from the streets of Detroit (very pregnant) on a cold and snowy day in February 2015. She gave birth to 10 healthy pups shortly thereafter. Dad is unknown. There actually may be more than one.

Approximate Age / Weight: 12 weeks old (3 months) as of May 29, 2015

Each of the adorable puppies is healthy and thriving and has had age-appropriate vaccines. As far as puppies go, they are a mellow bunch (according to their foster mom).

Amelia’s litter of 10 puppies includes 1 girl and 9 boys: All named after famous adventurers.

Forever home: Puppies are cute, cuddly and full of affection but please consider all of the time, effort, and money that a puppy requires to become a well-adjusted, adult dog companion before deciding to add a puppy to your family - potty-training, chewing, etc.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
