Gnome (family cat) Domestic Medium Hair Eau Claire, WI

Gnome is a mellow 1 1/2 year old neutered male with light yellow eyes and a cute pink nose. His medium length coat is white with just a touch of gray on his head. Gnome is a wonderful cat and very affectionate. He even likes dogs and has absolutely no fear of them; not all dogs like cats however, which is why Gnome was sadly surrendered to the shelter. His previous owner feared what might happen to him as their dog wasn't to be totally trusted with cats. Gnome will do well in most households and would be a wonderful feline for that first time pet owner. He is a great family cat that is super friendly with strangers and does well with children. He loves to snuggle and wants a home where all family members will give him lots of attention and enjoys having a mellow cat camp on their laps. He has an instant quiet purr and paws that quickly start to knead ever so slowly, showing you how much you mean in his life. He is VERY good about not using his claws and enjoys being groomed. Gnome is even good about bath time! He feels confident and comfortable with being held and loves being petted and scratched. He seems to enjoy being talked to and from time to time can be quite talkative himself. You will want to make sure you have plenty of toys for him to play with, and his favorite seems to be things that dangle, so wand-toys may be a great choice. Gnome is simply sweet, sweet, sweet inside and out!
