Rockett (Bonded with Mittens) Domestic Medium Hair Eau Claire, WI

Rockett and his best friend Mittens were surrendered to the shelter on 4/18/15 as their previous owner no longer wanted them. These wonderful neutered males were 10 months old at that time and are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. You will find more information about Mittens in the previous listing, and when adopting two cats the adoption fee for a second is half the regular price. Rockett is a little more wary than Mittens about being a shelter resident, so you may find him camping near the back of his cage, but once he is in your arms and you feel him leaning into you for comfort; well, it's the most peaceful feeling in the world, and you know that you made his day better. Rockett is very friendly, but just needs a little extra time to get to know you. Once you have petted him, you will find him gladly scooting to the front of the cage for more head, ear and chin scratching. He has a plush gray coat with white paws and green/gold eyes. Rockett loves to be brushed and petted which is the way to his heart. He likes to play with toys, but we are sure that once he is in the comfort of a home he will be much more playful than ever. He is excellent with the litter box and knows what a scratching post is to be used for. The joy of seeing these felines blossom in the comfort of a forever home is priceless.
