Hope is a smart & sensitive soul who deserves to be spoiled with lots of love & affection. Hope will need a family that is patient and who can teach her self confidence as she is still learning how to be loved. She prefers to come to you when she feels safe, but still gets nervous when being approaches. When Hope feels comfortable, she enjoys to be hugged and scratched.Hope has no aggressive tendencies and is good with the cat & dogs in her foster home. She is currently living with two children ages five & nine and does well, but is very shy with them, but is slowly taking toys from them when offered.

Hope does well in the car and on the leash, but again, is nervous with her new surroundings.

Hope is crate & house trained and is very well mannered. We are looking for a home that can give her the tools to feel safe and loved, please consider adopting her, you won't regret it!

Hope was only 5 weeks old when found crying all alone under a car in PR. She is now 10 months old and weighs 49 lbs.

The adoption fee is $365.00 (of which $75.00 is to cover transportation expenses) & the majority of the fee is sent to Puerto Rico to continue the rescue work. Adoptions fees must be paid in cash or check, we cannot accept credit cards at this time. All dogs come fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, are been seen by a vet prior to making their journey to NH. and are seen by a licensed NH Vet to obtain their State of NH Health Certificate (per NH Dept of Agriculture law) before being adopted.
