Meet Bambi

Bambi came to us as part of our Magnificent Seven rescue, a group of 6 ten month old puppies and their mom abandoned in an equipment yard. Bambi was quite the shy girl and has been working on her people skills and now she has them. She has worked with both our local dog trainer and behaviorist and is ready to find her place. This girl has tons of personality--she does funny things with her head, shaking it in funny ways, that you can't help but get a good laugh over.

She is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She has a pronounced limp on her right front leg, an old fracture injury that she got before we got her. Our vet said leave it alone. It bothers her a bit from time to time, but Bambi can climb and jump on chairs with the best of them.

Therefore, we give Bambi a daily does of Glucosimine (sp) to ease arthritis in old age and to help with any discomfort she might feel. It would be important to continue this regimin.

She is fixed, up to date on shots and micro-chipped.
