Chata Redbone Coonhound & Border Collie Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Chata and I am a beautiful Redbone Coonhound/Border Collie mix. My coat is very short and shiny with multiple shades of brown giving me a very rich look, and the white on my chest will draw your attention to my white front paws that have spots on them just for fun. Life hasn't always been perfect for me and you will notice that a good part of my right ear is missing and there is a slit in my left ear as well, but now I think it just makes me that much more unique; I think humans even spend more time petting me because of it, and I love every bit of attention that comes my way. You really must stop over to the shelter to visit with me because I am absolutely gorgeous! On the flip side of that I must also tell you that I have had a history of skin issues which are most likely related to allergies. I am a 3 year old spayed female with enough energy to light up the town. I am housebroken, and I know sit and come; I am also crate-trained. I will need an active household with a fenced in yard because I love to play and can run like the wind. I am full of wonderful potential for being fantastic at agility or fly-ball, and I would love to learn how to play fetch. I love going on long walks and will admit that I can be a bit of a puller, but the longer my walk is the more polite I become. I am a sweet, fun-loving girl that is anxious to have a forever home! It has been difficult for me to adjust to the life style of being a shelter resident, so I am being kept in a quiet part of the building for now.
