Meet Zipper

Licking his lips in anticipation, brown eyes focusing on something yummy in the distance, zesty little Zipper is itching for a taste of it. Freedom! With his signature Crested plumage atop his 5-year-old head, Zipper was removed by Polk County Animal Control from a neglectful situation where he had been used as a breeder dog. Once he was neutered, vetted, and groomed, he got his first taste of that freedom at CE. Despite his past, he loves people and loves to give kisses. Zipper and Roscoe have become Best Friends and would love to go to a home together! Due to his past, he has some scarring on his body and has lost most of his teeth, but Zipper is now licking his lips in anticipation of an adoptive home where he can love and give kisses forever and always.
