Raanin Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Raanin joined the shelter family on January 9th, 2015, as his previous owner was unable to care for him. He is a handsome, 1-year-old sweet fellow with soft orange tabby fur and unique green eyes. Raanin is a feline who loves affection; he may be a bit shy at first, and you will need to move slowly, but once he feels safe with you, he's your biggest fan! Raanin enjoys getting attention and being petted; he especially enjoys neck scratches. When he purrs, it's very deep and shows that he has placed trust in you. Raanin enjoys soft blankets and being near company; he has a lot of potential to be a perfect lap cat once he gets used to his surroundings. Raanin may seek out hiding spots at first while he adjusts, but he will become brave and more active with someone that is patient with him. We would like to see him adopted into a multiple cat home, or to be adopted with a feline friend as he finds comfort in the company of other cats. Raanin is a very loving, nice feline and will be a good buddy forever. He's a bit on the sad side currently, and a wonderful home would mean so much to him.
