Sammy joined the shelter family on February 15th, 2015; he is a handsome 1 year old male tabby with buff-colored fur of medium length, complemented by yellow eyes. Sammy is shy at first, but quite friendly; new places make him cautious, but with a little time, he becomes more confident and active, as he is curious and enjoys exploring. Sammy has a calm demeanor, and enjoys being picked up and held or just being on your lap. He likes attention and petting, and will purr quietly to show his affection. He has been neutered, and is very calm and well mannered, but has an independent streak and can keep himself busy. He will benefit from a good brushing, and will love to show off his soft coat! This sweet and loving fellow is very careful with his claws and always tries to use soft paws when climbing on you. He is a little lonely and feels cooped up right now; Sammy would enjoy having a home to run around in and be a friend with all the people in it! Most of all, he would really love to have a home where he feels safe and loved! Sammy is a sweet fellow, and is a perfect choice for a lifelong friend!
