Arrival story: Crumpet was found as a stray in the city. She was signed over to Waggin’ Tails to ensure she finds a great home.

Approximate age / weight: Just under 1 year old / 7 lbs.

Personality: Crumpet is a friendly and playful tiny, little cutie! She definitely still acts like an energetic pup at just under 1 year of age. Crumpet is go-go-go, loves to play with other dogs and be with people. She enjoys time at doggy daycare and romping with her pals. She would be happiest in a home with another active dog her size / age / personality. She would likely pester a senior or laid back dog.

Crumpet is crate-trained, though she whines a little at night in crate. She is house-trained but may have an accident once in awhile at the back door if no one is there to let her out. Her foster mom is training her to ring a bell for potty breaks! Crumpet enjoys her toys and chewing on her Nylabone and romping outside. When playing with people she can still be a bit mouthy.

Forever home: Crumpet would be best suited to an active person/family ready for a young, energetic pup. A fenced yard is ideal, as this girl’s little legs are fast!

Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Just complete the application and email it back to wtdr2008@yahoo.com
Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
