Did You Adopt Smokey?

Meet Smokey

Smokey was surrendered to the shelter on February 7th, 2015, as his previous owner didn't want him anymore. Smokey is 1-year-old, neutered, and has green-yellow eyes with white and gray tabby fur. He has a lot of energy and enjoys exploring, toys, running around, and chasing anything that moves! Smokey has an instant, loud purr, and while he enjoys having company, he does have an independent streak as well. He does need someone willing to work with him a bit on his behavior and give him a good outlet for his energy level; currently he is a little frustrated being cooped up, so he mouths at you to show his displeasure, and while it's gentle, with a bit of training, he will become less impatient. Smokey is really sweet and has the potential to become a great companion for life. Smokey needs a special home that will be patient and love him for who he is; please take some time to get to know him on your next visit to the shelter!
