Jackson American Staffordshire Terrier Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Jackson and I am a neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix puppy. I was brought to the shelter as a 3 month old stray on 2/13/15. Everyone here keeps telling me that I am extremely sweet and they love to scratch my ears and cuddle with me. I have been doing well on leash and the volunteers seem to love spending time with me too. They especially love it when I sit for a treat, and they keep telling me that I am a quick learner. They praise me when I go potty outside right away, but I know that I still have some training to do in that area. I have such a good time playing with everyone here, and I guess you could say that I am the hit of the shelter! A family with children came over to say hi to me and I did really well with the kids, but they said that they were looking for an adult dog for a companion for a dog they already have. I told them I would do my best to grow really fast and that I already get along great with most other dogs, but they decided to keep looking anyway. I know that the perfect home for me is out there and they just haven't stopped over to visit with me yet. All of the pups here are required to go through basic obedience classes and I am very anxious to get started with that. I know that I will get lots of treats and I hear that it is a ton of fun!
