Maple (Heidi) - FOSTER Boxer & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Ewing, NJ

MAPLE is a one year old female Boxer/Pit-bull mix; she was found running in traffic near the water reservoir at Parkway and Parkside Avenues in Ewing and was taken to the Ewing Animal Shelter. MAPLE is now in a foster home with 5 other rescue dogs, cats and a parrot and is doing very well. MAPLE is a sweet young well-behaved dog. MAPLE is extremely friendly and enjoys greeting people and getting affection from them. She is also very good with children. MAPLE can be energetic at times, but for the most part she is docile and playful. MAPLE likes to take walks, ride in the car and give kisses. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is belly rubs! She knows several commands and is doing very well at weekly training classes. MAPLE loves water games and the hose….but her favorite is playing ball and bringing the ball back! MAPLE is both dog and cat friendly and learning her manners with the parrot! She would do well with another friendly dog but is also able to entertain herself on her own. MAPLE is both crate and potty trained and learning to walk without pulling on a lead.
