Checkers is a loving and gentle cat. She currently resides in Whisker Wonderland, a cage-free room at the SPCA in Cattaraugus County. Checkers is very shy and unsure of herself. Unfortunately Checkers gets overlooked because she waits for people to find her rather than approaching people when they enter the room.
