Buddy Border Collie & Flat-Coated Retriever Mix Edison, NJ

Come meet our newest family member at the Edison Animal Shelter. His name is Buddy and his name fits him perfectly because he will be your buddy for life. His fur is mostly black with some white and we believe that he might be a Border Collie mixed with a Flat Coated Retriever. He is a very smart, fun boy with a lot energy who would make a great companion and exercise partner. He is a very young dog, so he has that innocent puppy sweetness about him. Did I mention that he has the cutest face with the cutest expressions? Since he is still very young, he is a little jumpy when you first start out to walk him on a leash, but then, in no time, he walks like a pro. Buddy is in his glory when he plays in the snow and runs around. He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and he will bring it right back to you to throw it again and again! He does not mind being handled, for example, when you clean the snowballs out from between his paw pads after a fun day playing in the snow. The great thing about Buddy is that he gets along with other dogs and likes to play with them. So, if you have another dog that likes to play, that is a big bonus.
