Aurora Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

A resident of the shelter since January 12th, 2015, Aurora is a beautiful spayed female that is 3 years old. She was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owner was unable to care for her. She shares space with her pal Oriana, as they feel comforted in the others' presence. All black with big green eyes, she is a bit meek when you first meet her, but really enjoys attention; she will rub her face against your hand for more petting, especially cheek scratches. Aurora is shy but friendly; she needs to feel safe, but in the right home, her personality will blossom as she becomes more confident. She is quite observant and will become braver as she gets used to things, but she may seek out a hiding spot until she gets comfortable. Aurora would love to be adopted with Oriana if at all possible, but will most likely do fine as long as her new home has other cats to help her to be brave and build confidence. She is a sweet gal with a lot of love to give; a little bit of patience goes a long way with Aurora, and you will surely be rewarded if you adopt her as part of your family!
