Zara Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Zara is a 1-year-old spayed female that was surrendered to the shelter on January 12th, 2015. She has large, lovely green eyes to complement her muted calico fur. Zara has been a bit sad and scared lately; sharing space with Oriana and Aurora makes her feel better. She is very reserved around people, and needs a lot of patience; she tends to shy away if you move a hand towards her, so moving slowly will make her more comfortable. She does love being showered with attention; you can tell by her constant purring when petting her. Zara shows interest in things going on around her and is very observant; she may seek out hiding spots or high places at first, but she has the potential to be confident and explore more. She would do best in a quiet home with Oriana and Aurora, and it would be great to see this feline trio stay together, but she would also do well with just Oriana too. She does need to be in a multiple cat home as she finds comfort in being with another feline. Zara will need plenty of love and some time to get used to things, but she will become a great companion and just needs a chance to have a family again!
