Baija is a handsome 5-year-old neutered male that has been a resident of the shelter since January 12th, 2015. He has been here a long time, but his personality has blossomed since he first arrived! Still quiet but social, Baija is no longer tired and sad; instead, he is a contented, happy cat that is adorably charming. Baija is an orange tabby with light green eyes; he is soft and so much more relaxed than when he first came to the shelter. He is a confident, mellow feline who LOVES getting attention; any and all petting makes him happy, and he loves being picked up and in your lap. Baija also loves being told that he's a good boy, and he is incredibly relaxed; he enjoys having feline companions as well as people. He truly enjoys being around you, and is especially affectionate when being held. Baija is good around all other cats and patient with children too! His journey had been long and difficult, but he has really flourished, and will do awesome in any type of home.
