Tiger Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Tiger is a 5 year old spayed female with a beautiful torbie coat. Torbies are tortoiseshell cats with a tabby pattern. She was surrendered to the shelter on 11/11/14 because her previous owner simply had too many cats. She is up to date with her vaccinations and her rabies certificate will not expire until 11/18/15. Tiger enjoys getting attention, so petting sessions are definitely appreciated and are a favorite pastime. She melts into your arms when being held and feels confident relaxing on your lap once she has had some time to get to know you. She is very affectionate, but is also a very quiet and sensitive girl that is much too shy for children and will need a quiet home. Gentle and slow handling is the way to this girls loving heart as fast or aggressive movements quickly scare her. Tiger will use a scratching post and is excellent with the litter box. She is a calm couch potato kind of gal that will show off a bit when you spend time playing with her. Once she is comfortable with her environment she also enjoys playing independently with small catnip toys and balls. She just raised a litter of kittens and was a very good and caring mom - now it is time for her to become the pampered one in a loving forever home.
