Max Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Max is a 2 year old large and in charge mellow fellow waiting for you to fall in love with him. Max is a neutered male with a gorgeous orange tabby coat and buff colored eyes. His previous owner was no longer able to care for Max, and sadly surrendered him to the shelter on 12/31/14. Max loves to have company whether it is human or a furry friend. He did well with the dog in his previous home and has done very well with other cats at the shelter. He loves to follow you from room to room and likes to have you play with him. Feather toys are his favorite, but he also loves cardboard and bell toys. Max is a very athletic and curious cat that loves to explore. He is independent and likes to nap in high places where he can keep an eye on his kingdom below. There isn't too much that gets past this boy! Max loves being around people and being petted from head to tail, but prefers that you do not scratch his belly. He is not fond of being held in your arms or feeling trapped, but loves attention while relaxing near you. Max is up to date on his vaccinations and knows how to use a scratching post.
