Meet Shere Khan

Shere Khan is a handsome, 1 year old male grey tabby, and not at all like the orange and white Shere Khan in The Jungle Book. This Shere Khan is very sweet with a quiet purr that starts up the minute you give him any attention at all. He loves everyone and will rub up against you begging for a bit more scratching and petting and then even more scratching, and before you know it you will find yourself holding him in your arms for some snuggle time. He has green/yellow eyes and a delightful personality. Shere Khan is an unclaimed stray that was brought to the shelter on 12/25/14. He is a mellow boy that plays with his toys gently and will do well in most households. Can't you just picture him in your home, in complete comfort, sitting near a window bird and squirrel watching, or sitting near you as you read a good book?
