Sasha - Adopted 11/22/2015 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Corgi Mix Livonia, MI

Sasha is a sweet girl who had been left outside 24/7 most of her life chained up. She has come to love being with people and wants to be with you all the time. Be ready to have this dog push her way onto your lap, or if you prefer she stay on the ground you can almost guarantee her at your feet! She is sometimes fearful of new people and would probably do best in a home without small children. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch, or go explore outside, either in the backyard or on a walk. When she was first rescued she did not like being left outside alone, but after a couple weeks of learning she was safe, she now happily goes outside to do her business and sometimes lay in the grass to enjoy the sun (even on colder days). Sasha is fearful of new dogs and can react somewhat aggressively towards them at first (especially if she is on a leash). This was the case with her foster mom's other dog but they are now good buddies and like to play tug-o-war and run around together. She would be the perfect pet for someone that loves to have a 4 legged snuggle buddy and who loves to go for walks. She will give you all the love she has.

All family members should be present for the application and the in-person interview with a member of our Adoption Approval Committee. All applications will require a home inspection prior to final approval.**
