Teddy Poodle Rigaud, QC

After being purchased at a pet store, Teddy spent way too much time in a crate when all he really wanted to do was learn, play, and be with his people. The family never had a dog before and underestimated the time needed to provide adequate attention and exercise. Teddy has been loving and affectionate with his foster mom, and has adapted quite well to being properly cared for. His only fault is that he had never been brought to the vet and his grooming was done by the family, which has left him rather uncomfortable being handled by vets and groomers. Teddy is a 15-pound Miniature Poodle born in October 2012 with oodles of potential for the right adopter, one with patience and experience to help him learn to be handled by these caregivers. He has progressed very well since coming into the rescue, but still needs to learn not to jump up when he's happy to see people!
