Oliver is a super sweet and handsome 9 year old Shepard/ Lab mix. He is a little shy when meeting new people or in a new environment, however he warms up very quickly and shows you his bright personality.

Oliver loves to be around his human. He is never far away. Whether you are cooking or on the computer, he will check to see what you are up to. He loves to take his naps in his special place, and if someone is in that place, he will let you know. Oliver is a talker. He loves to talk about his day if you ask.

Oliver has been exposed to cats in the past as a pup, although not recently. It appears that this will unlikely be an issue. Oliver is nervous around young children (that move fast and have uncertain trajectories). For this reason, he is no longer able to stay in his home and will not be placed in a home with children under age 5.

He walks well on the leash and loves to ride in the car. He does live with other dogs in the home with no issue unless he is challenged, but is easily distracted from the situation and then goes about his normal business. Oliver loves (and can be protective of) his toys.

Oliver is looking for a mature owner that enjoys a quiet lifestyle that is free of arm flailing and loud outbursts of noise.
