Talk about your rags-to-riches story! Windell here, hit the jackpot! He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in N. WA state and things weren't lookin' so good for this 7 month old boy. But thanks to some very dedicated volunteers, he was soon on his way to us where life has gone from bad to AWESOME! And that's with him living in the shelter! Imagine how happy he'll be when he finds his forever home! Windell used to be afraid of everything and every one, but the tail always gives away his heart and we all know he's got a brave boy hiding deep inside! Windell has just recently discovered toys...although he's not sure what to do with them...he knows they're funny sounding and likes to toss them around. And Windell loves other dogs and even tolerates bossy little ones clambering all over him. I think he just doesn't know what to think of 'em! New dogs can be scary though, so slow introductions are a must, for now. Windell is great on leashed walks, and car rides, too! He's blossomed into a fun-loving, goofy boy ready for life! Windell is current on shots, microchipped and neutered. The adoption fee for Windell is $200. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
