Who could resist snuggling this cute teddy bear every day?

Cute, cute, cute! This is Skylar, a 4-year-old male Cairn Terrier mix. He has a wiry brown and tan medium long coat and is a medium/small dog, weighing 24 pounds. He is a little stocky, but easy to pick up. Skylar’s coat was in pretty bad shape - bad enough that part of it had to be shaved off. Skylar was a stray that was dropped off at our local animal shelter. He had been down there for several weeks, but no one came to claim him!

Skylar is a very friendly, fun dog! He loves attention and to be with you. But he is a terrier and has some terrier attitude around other dogs, so he may be better as an only dog. He should be fine with older children, ages 12 and up. Skylar would make a great apartment pet, as long as he gets daily walks. He has a moderate energy level. He will require a fenced yard or to be on a leash if not fenced in when outside, but Skylar needs to be an inside dog.

We have started on his crate training. Skylar is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative and is microchipped. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. This darling dog will make a wonderful companion dog for a very lucky person!
