Polo is about 6 yrs old and a beautiful mix of Chihuahua and...ummm...we don't know! He's adorable and lovable and smart and playful and silly!! But you should have seen him when he first arrived at our shelter. This boy was afraid of everything and every one, but thanks to our wonderful volunteers who just can't seem to get enough of this fella, they've taken him on field trips and hikes, and he's had sleep-overs sometimes, and he has found his groove! Polo can't wait to run up to us and get a snuggle and be carried around, or just find that perfect spot on laps where he can get a good, sound sleep! Polo has become such a snuggler, no one can believe he's the same dog from a year ago. Oh, yes... A YEAR AGO!! We can't figure out why Polo doesn't even get phone calls, but someone is sure missing out on a great companion for life! Polo is great with other dogs, toys, cats...he's housetrained, crate trained, and is generally quiet. I mean, seriously, what more could you ask for? Don't let this wonderful dog pass you by! He's a gem and would make a great addition to a family with older, respectful kids. Polo is current on shots, microchipped and neutered. The adoption fee for this good boy is $175. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
