Amy Jack Russell Terrier & Rat Terrier Mix Eau Claire, WI

Greetings, my name is Amy. I am a spayed female and 11 years old. My breed is a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Rat Terrier. My previous owners moved and can no longer have pets, so here I am in need of a new family to cherish me throughout my golden years. I am a sweet girl with a lot of love and companionship to offer. I like to cuddle and from time to time you will notice me gazing into your eyes and may even give you one of my gentle kisses. Like most terriers I am a great watch dog and quick to bark at strangers until I know all is well. If you have a fenced in yard where I can run free you might notice me chasing birds, squirrels, or any other wild life that I see scampering around in the yard. I am very clever and I learn new things quickly, especially if you are handling out people food treats like hot dogs! Yummmm! I have not had any type of formal obedience training, but I am polite on leash, and I do know down, roll-over and sit. I am also crate-trained. My coat is short and my needs are simple - a good meal a couple of times a day, snuggle time whenever you can fit it in and a good daily walk. I would love to have a quiet home without young children; one that will care about me forever and will appreciate all of the wonderful advantages of having an older dog to love.
